The way this works: Leave a comment, I'll reply to it with an answer, then place the answer into the deviation.
1. Q: "What are the fundamental values all Satanists believe or practice?"
1A: Satanists believe in obtaining godhood/apotheosis through the genetic/spiritual modifications Satan gave to humanity; a process long forgotten, and thought of as a "myth".
Unlike other belief systems, Satanism actually requires work... instead of sitting around all day playing video games or praying to some god. Godhood is obtained through power meditation, yoga (kundalini/hatha) and hard work, perseverance.
The other values Satanism promotes are knowledge, truth, justice, kindness, self-empowerment: and freedom of the mind, body, and soul.
2. Q: "If it helps, you can divide into the different branches, since I'm not sure what branches really believe. What I just know there's a few of them."
2A: As for "branches", there are no branches of Satanism.
Either a person follows reality (Satanism), or they are not a Satanist; LaVeyanism is LaVeyanism, Luciferianism is Luciferianism, and Satanism is Satanism.
3. Q: "If you were to place a simple description or definition of Satan, what would that be?"
3A: A bit of a preface: the red "evil horned man look" is NOT AT ALL ACCURATE to how he looks... that is merely how his enemies portray him.
He is a tall blonde humanoid with electric blue eyes: tan-ish, strong jaw, well-built.
Usually he wears a white robe: though sometimes he appears with armor, like a knight. Sometimes, he also has ethereal-looking wings.
I've found that the hair length varies when I see him, but he always has the same general look to him.
His aura creates a calming effect, but also raises the atmospheric pressure of whichever building he appears in.
I have a drawing of him in the Satanism section of my gallery.
As for describing him non-physically; he's very kind, understanding, supportive.
He has never said anything negative to me or about me.
He also has a great sense of humor, and knows when to relax.
He cares deeply for humanity, and I hope we are reunited with him soon (he has stated to me personally that he is "coming to Earth".)
4. Q: "Could you also give a description of Lilith. I don't know to much about her other than she is a big supporter of women's rights."
4A: Ah, Lilith, Satan's wife; She's a lovely woman.
Strangely my vision of her looked wildly different than the one portrayed on JoS;
Her hair is black and is styled somewhat similar to Asami's (Legend of Korra).
She has violet eyes that show kindness; her skin is a light color. She seems to wear a slight amount of makeup, but nothing too drastic. Of course, she's also very attractive.
5. Q: "How long have you been a Satanist?"
5A: 4 years of being a dedicated Satanist, almost 4 1/2 of being a Satanist. I dedicated April 31st, 2011.
6. Q: "How did you come to Satanism?"
6A: For the first first 5 or so I don't remember much, so 7 of those were spent as a christian.
I never really got into christianity; maybe for a week or so, but that's it. I never felt the presence of any of the bullshit book's characters.
Around age 13 I stopped using fluoridated toothpaste, and that is what led me to start questioning things (in addition to the "coming of age" thing.)
Age 16 I left christianity after various happenings, and realized I had never seen any evidence AT ALL for christianity being legitimate... for 4 years I was lost, tried a few "occult" things, but nothing ever stuck with me.
Every prayer to the "christian god" felt like it was sent to a black hole, not any sort of god or person.
I also stupidly thought I was "possessed" during this time (which I have come to realize was just my own subconscious acting out, due to years of abuse.)
At age 19 I was introduced to the Joy of Satan website... it was a great awakening; looking at the page felt like I had finally found the giant, missing piece of the puzzle I had been desperately trying to assemble in my life.
I felt guilty at first, but Satan reassured me that I was "home" now and comforted me; he forgave me for being a bit foolish (the whole possession bit), as I didn't know any better.
About a week after that, I stood up to my abusive ex-stepfather; this lead to a chain of events, in which I was moved out of the house, and lived with the man who introduced me to the JoS site. I performed the dedication ritual about 3 months after that (I had turned 20.)
7. Q: "How old are you?"
7A: Currently 24.
To elaborate: I know Satanists who are 14, 19, 35, 50, etc... the HighPriestess herself is around 55, but she looks 20 due to her spiritual advancement.
Satanism is not "herpderp for rebelz 7th graders" or some trash like many spout off.
8. Q: "What sorts of religious practices do you have? (ie prayer, holidays, and rituals)?"
8A: There are prayers for protection, for aid in endeavors, but these are optional.
Holidays: Yule, Feast of Fire, Beltane, Summer Solstice, Samhain/Halloween, Spring Equinox, Autumn equinox.
Rituals: Standard, giving thanks, destruction rituals, banishing rituals, ritual for cursing the church... lately there have been a lot of rituals for reversing biblical curses made by the enemy.
For more information, visit the pages on each.
9. Q: "What are the values that Satanism holds in high regard?"
9A: Not in any order: Kindness, self-empowerment, freedom, truth, justice, helpfulness, knowledge, thinking, courage, moderation, loving life.
10. Q: "You mentioned an alien war more than once. If the aliens had the technology to wipe humans out, why not do it already?"
10A: They get more use out of us alive than dead. Think The Matrix series. keep in mind the war is still ongoing; it is not over, we merely lose a battle early-on.
11. Q: "Are any foods prohibited from being eaten in Satanism?"
11A: None at all.
Although... Satan recommends staying away from processed food (especially those made with bleached flour), as it is unhealthy... but all in all, nobody is going to ban you from eating a certain food.
I remember the HighPriestess mentioning she regularly picked up energy drinks because she liked the taste; at a certain point in spiritual advancement, nothing negative really effects a person.
12. Q: "Do Satanists believe in Hell, and if so, is it a good or bad place?"
12A: Hell is indeed a real place; it is on the astral, no physical matter can exist here.
It is NOT a bad place AT ALL.
There is a negative/dark dimension where angels and the like will drag humans down to, and threaten that their "sinful path" will lead them there... but this is not true. This awful place is NOT of Satan; merely a scare tactic by the enemy to lead them away from Satan.
The "fiery torture pit of doom where 'Satan' tortures people" Hell DOES NOT EXIST. AT ALL.
13. Q: "People who are Satanists themselves keep telling me that I need to do horrible rituals and all of this shit to be a "real Satanist". Is this true?"
13A: Absolutely not true.
SATAN HIMSELF has said that people who do blood/living sacrifice are LUNATICS and that they are "not his people."
All of those vile and disgusting rituals are done by judaic people, not Satanists; the judaic people are the enemies of Satan.
The only time blood is EVER used in a ritual is during the dedication one; even then it is not absolutely required, and the amount drawn is similar to that of a diabetic test strip.
14. Q: "Do I have to hate christians or christianity to be a Satanist?"
14A: You are required to do neither of these things.
However... if a Satanist doesn't have a hatred for christianity, I find that odd considering.. just how harmful christianity is to humanity.
Hate the christians themselves, though? No.
They are your fellow humans; you can hate a christian on a person-by-person basis, but hating all christians just for being christian isn't going to do any good.
15. Q: "Do Satanists consider black metal cultural appropriation or church music?"
15A: Yes and no. In short, it really depends on the song and the individual Satanist.
Satanists can like whatever music they want, though it's recommended that the music doesn't insult Satan or the gods.
For example, my spouse is a Satanist, and he loves Electronic Dance Music mainly (his favorite music artist is Deadmau5.)
Most black metal is corrupted and only speaks of death, dying, other negative things.
Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer - Behemoth is an accurate depiction of "cultural black metal"+" church music".
16. Q: "Do Satanist get discriminated as well?"
16A: Most definitely.
We Satanists are discriminated against a lot.
Ironically, mainly by atheists.
From my experience, christians aren't as rude (at least on the internet) toward us as individuals; mainly they focus on insulting the gods/demons.
Atheists, however, will focus on attacking the Satanist themselves; calling them "delusional" and that they "need to be locked up" and such. They are also completely closed-minded to the spiritual, despite it being in the realm of science (quantum physics level.)
Because 90% of atheists seem to be this way, I'm not too fond of them.
17. Q: "Where is the alien homeworld located? What are the government structures of the two opposing factions?"
17A: Satan's planet is located somewhere in the Orion system, I think in the "belt" area.
They have a loose structure where pretty much everybody self-governs, but Satan is their respected leader; he rules alongside his 3 family members.
They have no money/currency to speak of, merely trade each other for favors and items that they want/need. Everybody governs themselves, so it's basically anarchy (NOT chaos. Anarchy.)
I'm not sure of the enemy's structures at all, really.
18. Q: "Does 'being possessed by a demon' have meaning for you?"
18A: Demons do not possess people.
From my own experience, the "demonic possession" feeling is merely an alternate personality acting out; a placebo-type effect:
"Among psychologists and mental health professionals, Dissociative Identity Disorder is probably one of the most controversial 'disorders' ever. In real life, Dissociative Identity Disorder (or DID) is a condition believed to be most common among survivors of sexual and/or physical abuse that occurs in their childhood/teenage years."
-TVTropes, "Split Personality".
People who think they are possessed are merely lashing out due to repressed feelings and/or memories.
I used to think I was possessed by a "demon" and would "become re-possessed" every so often just for the rush of it; turns out, it really was a split personality the entire time... I went through years of abuse due to my mother re-marrying some shitbag, and the violent split personality was the result of this.
I even had an embarrassing incident when I first spoke with Satan about "becoming possessed by him for the lulz", but he gently corrected me... and ripped out a bunch of negative energy that was making me feel bad.
Anyhow, demons are the benevolent gods of humanity; they have no reason to possess humans.
Replace "demon" with the proper name of a demon; would you claim that Amon Ra was possessing your friends? Odin? Apollo? Aphrodite? Sounds absurd.
Additionally, if your friends think they can be "possessed by demons" they are NOT Satanists. One must view the demons in a positive light and see the truths; not following enemy propaganda... to be a Satanist.
To note: actual possession can be done... by the Reptilian race, but only if the humanoid shares their DNA. Once, again, not demons.
How can I tell if someone is meditating as a Satanist or meditating as say a Buddhist?
19A:Unless your astral sight is open, or they're wearing specific clothing, there's really no easy way to tell. All you can do is ask them what they're doing, and infer from there.
20. Q:Do Satanists have a Sabbath/ a day designated specifically for prayer, rest and reflection? What's a black mass?
20A: Not really. The holidays focus more on this, but being spiritual is full-time.
Black mass is more of a LaVeyan thing, not a Satanist thing.
There are Covens in actual Satanism, but they're scheduled individually; not one giant meeting.
21. Q:How do Satanists believe the world was formed? What do they believe about god?
21A:The world was formed according to the most popular scientific theory.
"what do they belive about God?"
Outside of a parasitic thoughtform, the christian/islamic/judaic/etc "God" entity does not exist. There is only Satan; as well, his allies.
Do Satanists believe in something like the spirit realm? What "power" do you talk to Satan and such things? Is it supernatural, or is it super sophisticated technology, or what?
Nothing is "supernatural". Everything can be explained through scientific means... everything is natural, including the afterlife and the spiritual.
We talk to Satan through telepathy and sometimes dreams (people are astral projected into the astral while they sleep, though still attached to their physical bodies.)
23. Q:There's mention of a war and an enemy. Who is this enemy?
23A: "The enemy" is defined mainly as; "any entity or being who is against the advancement and prosperity of humanity."
This can include humans, ET-nordics, greys, reptilians, etc... though most Satanists seem to refer to "the enemy" as non-gentiles, only.
There is no "war against god" since the entity does not exist.
24. Q:What does "non-Gentiles" mean?
22A:Humanoids who aren't human; who are not Enki/Satan's children. Usually judaic people.
What's the difference between Satanism and Luciferianism?
25A: Luciferians don't try to obtain godhood. I'm also not sure if they acknowledge Satan as Enki.
26. Q:What do you think of Aleister Crowley and his works?
26A:He abused demons/gods; torturing them, just as somebody would restrain a person and torture them physically. He's not respected at all among actual Satanists, and anybody who calls themselves a Satanist should not associate with the bastard.
27. Q:What awesome power did Crowley have that was powerful enough to restrain and hurt gods!?
27A: He wasn't really that powerful. The gods had been bound for thousands of years; Gods can still be chained up, rendered powerless, etc.
28. Q:Did you know that the reversed cross (upside down) is a symbol for st. peter's sacrifice?
28A:Except IT'S NOT. It's a bunch of BULLSHIT, and I'm sick and tired of people spreading this myth.
The reversed cross represents the human soul, and is part of the alchemical symbol for Sulfur.
29. Q:How many years are you a Satanist?
29A: Almost six years, now.
30. Q:Do you support violence/death/crimes?
30A:Only if the person is deserving of it; we don't harm innocents. Even then, violence/death should only be used as a last resort, when all other options are exhausted. Satan is against killing.
31. Q:What's your stance with angels/god/other religions?
31A: Angels are enemies of humanity; they are vile creatures who seek to further humanity's enslavement, and see us as nothing more than cattle.
The christian god doesn't exist. Even if it did, it wouldn't be worth worshiping seeing as how violent, childish it is in its own book.
If other religions do not promote freedom, self-empowerment, and reaching apotheosis... they are of no interest to me. Most seek to keep humanity at low levels; to keep humanity enslaved spiritually and physically. The other religions should no longer be followed, but I am not going to force people to change.
32. Q:Who is baphomet? Do you support/worship baphomet as well?
32A:Baphomet is a symbol, not a deity. The Templar (who worshiped Baphomet) actually were Satanists; the King simply grew jealous of their wealth and power, and had them executed. One of my close friends was a part of them in a past life, and his murder was so cruel that it left damage on his soul.
I do not worship it, since it is not a deity, but I do support it.
33. Q:What's your general stance with science/knowledge?
33A:Satanism and science work together; most "occult" phenomenon can be explained through simple or advanced physics.
34. Q:What do you think would lead a demon to turn away from Satan, or were bad creatures I encountered were angels?
34A:If a being is not allied with Satan, then it is not a demon. Angels are cruel creatures who are against Satan, treat humanity like dirt, etc... so it may have been one.
Though to be fair, it's not all black and white; there are many creatures who are astral-only (no physical body) who mess with humans as well, yet look similar to the fake idea of a "demon".
To note: angels, nowadays, look downright creepy and disturbing (angels and demons are originally the same species, only different factions). Their souls have been warped by the inhumane acts they have committed.
35. Q:Is Luciferianism considered the "blood sacrifice goat Satan" religion?
35A:NO. No religion associated with blood sacrifices is Satanic/Luciferian... all of that garbage belongs to jehovah.
