Vampires in love. wat. by Vovina-de-Micaloz Vampires in love. wat. by Vovina-de-Micaloz
Vampires. They do not love; They kill. They feed. They survive.

As they are in fiction today, they are a far cry from their original standings.

Most stories I see today just use vampires as some excuse to have "danger" in their little love story.

I'm sick of the oxymoron "Vampire Romance" sub-genre.
I'm sick of sparklepires (and not just the twifail ones.)

Comment, fave, flame me, w/e.

This is so true. Vampires should be badass murderers, not sparkly lovely fairies who happen to drink blood because "OMG SO SAD D':"

well no

the corner stone of Vampires is romance like Dracula his entire story is that he fell in love with a mortal girl and Vhanhellsing and the girls husbnd  trying to kill the count and keep the girl from him as the girl starts to fall in love with Dracual

twilight is stupid and dose evry wrong and frogot that just drinking blood dosent make you a vampire and made all the charicotrs hallo shells

now the mondern vampires kill feed and survie but they love and a mane stay is that the alfa is looking for a mate to be with for entornty

so vampire romance is not realy bull shit

twilight and storys like it is bull shit because they fail to do any thing with the charicotrs or wright the monsters corectly

I kinda disagree, as a species they would have love in there somewhere, although we are free to express opinions. ^^ I prefer the anime vampires or something.

Eh there are varying degrees of vampire I guess.

I just made up my own species, which in human terms are called "vampires"... they don't fit every aspect of folklore though.

There are vampires in my original universe....however...they are based off the far less attractive and much more dangerous Asian Vampires, NOT the Hollywood/Anne Rice vampires.

There is the Indonesian Leyak, where it's a disembodied head with entrails following behind him/her. They can also manipulate their entrails like limbs or constrict someone to death with their entrails like a snake swallowing a rat. Then there is also the Manananggal, who splits himself/herself at the middle of the torso and can sprout wings. They also have a proboscis like tongue and tentacle like proboscises located where the lower half of their body should be. Let's not forget the Alk from Middle Eastern folklore and folklore of various former Soviet countries, where it's an ugly saggy breasted (or even sometimes multi-breasted) hag who feeds off villagers. Her personal favorite victims are children, pregnant women and menstruating women.

Those are some examples of vampires in my original series: The Realms of Alerfa. No vampire romance here. No sirree!
