Take responsibility for your OWN actions. by Vovina-de-Micaloz Take responsibility for your OWN actions. by Vovina-de-Micaloz
I'm sick of this.
Even if I wasn't a Satanist this would annoy the crap out of me...

When something goes wrong, what does a right-hander do (most of the time)? They blame Satan, or demons or some crap. For example... "my kid is still at school 3 hours after it got out?! amg, teh devul made me forgetz!!11"

or in a more serious manner, I saw some disgusting pedophile blame his own child-raping actions on Satan. *shakes head*

I mean really?

WHY ARE YOU SCAPEGOATING SO MUCH? IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT, DUMBSHIT.

It's just :iconfacepalmplz: No, just no.

-----

(For a different, "religious," and more detailed view... the "Blame Shifting" article by HPS Maxine has a pretty good rant on it.) [link]

-----

As for my personal (or less-broad, I should say) opinion, Satan is like a family member to me. One so kind, I would never want to disrespect him.
If something goes wrong, and it's my fault, what do I do?
I blame me, as my actions are of myself and nobody else.

I agree. For to long as the concept of Satan been the scapegoat for people that are afraid to admit that shit happens in life - or that their religion is not nearly as great as they think it is

Eyup.

They don't seem to even read their book, either.

They don't see all the rape, slavery, torture, and mass murders that take place "in the name of god."

Makes me sick. :/

they don't read their instruction manual, when they're called out on it, they twist its words to support their idea of what 'good' is - relying only on the fact their parents and pedo priests told them 'god is good' and their minds did the rest.........
.....
.....
...wait for it....
.....
and still claim *their* religion the only source of morality. yep, even with the not reading their book and twisting it to suit their perception of morality

Interesting how this conception appeared in the first place. I assume initially "the devil", or whatever it was, was only symbolic for our own human vices and had nothing to do with Satan really. But then xnity has the ability to pervert things, and people sometimes tend to perceive metaphors literally.

Humanity is infantile. People would rather have fictional (or real) powers rule over their mind and will than take responsibility for their mistakes, life, civilization, species, planet.... Which is very dangerous for many reasons. Only an infant acts this way, but then infants don't have nuclear warheads to play with.... and all that stuff, you know what I mean. Not to mention that people turn into "masses", too easy to control.

I mean, yeah. I agree with you ^^

Yes, I think they needed to make an excuse or scapegoat for peoples' "sins."

Sadly that's what most of humanity has become. I think we'll grow out of it soon.

Thanks. As well, thank you for all the faves.
